1. Account Eligibility

To open and maintain a SentryFi account, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Be a legal resident of the United States or a supported jurisdiction
  • Provide truthful, accurate, and complete personal and financial information
  • Not appear on any government sanctions, watchlists, or prohibited persons lists
  • Not have had a previous SentryFi account terminated for cause
  • Consent to identity verification, credit checks, and background screening as required by law

SentryFi reserves the right to deny account applications or close accounts that do not meet these eligibility criteria.

2. Account Types and Features

SentryFi offers a range of banking and financial products, which may include:

  • Deposit Accounts: Checking and savings accounts with FDIC insurance coverage (via partner banks)
  • Payment Services: ACH transfers, wire transfers, bill pay, and peer-to-peer payments
  • Lending Products: Personal loans, lines of credit, and overdraft protection (subject to approval)
  • Cards: Debit cards and, where offered, credit cards with associated rewards programs
  • Treasury and Business Services: Multi-user access, API integrations, and cash management tools (for eligible business accounts)

Specific features, limits, and availability may vary based on account type, verification level, and regulatory requirements. SentryFi may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Fees and Charges

SentryFi is committed to transparent pricing. Applicable fees may include:

  • Monthly account maintenance fees (waived for qualifying activity or balances)
  • Wire transfer fees (domestic and international)
  • Overdraft, non-sufficient funds (NSF), and returned item fees
  • ATM fees for out-of-network withdrawals
  • Foreign transaction fees for currency conversion
  • Late payment and loan servicing fees

A complete schedule of fees is available in your account dashboard and at sentryfi.pro/fees. SentryFi will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of material fee changes.

4. Electronic Communications

By using SentryFi services, you consent to receive all communications electronically, including:

  • Account statements, transaction confirmations, and tax documents
  • Legal notices, policy updates, and regulatory disclosures
  • Security alerts, fraud warnings, and authentication codes
  • Marketing communications (which you may opt out of at any time)

You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and ensuring that SentryFi communications are not blocked by spam filters. Electronic records are considered originals and admissible in legal proceedings.

5. Liability and Indemnification

SentryFi's liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to safeguard account credentials or device security
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party financial networks or force majeure events
  • Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees you paid to SentryFi in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for investment losses, market fluctuations, or unauthorized transactions reported outside required timeframes

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SentryFi, its affiliates, and service providers from claims arising out of your violation of these terms, fraud, or misuse of services.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or your use of SentryFi services shall be resolved as follows:

  • Informal Resolution: Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting legal@sentryfi.pro within 30 days of the dispute arising
  • Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules
  • Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions, collective proceedings, or representative actions
  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles

7. Termination

You may close your SentryFi account at any time by contacting customer support or using the account closure feature in your dashboard. Account closure is subject to:

  • Settlement of all outstanding transactions, loans, and fees
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements
  • Return or destruction of any issued cards

SentryFi may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we suspect fraud, money laundering, violation of law, or breach of these terms. Upon termination, your access to funds and services may be restricted pending resolution.
